イヴ・サンローラン展 時を超えるスタイル（国立新美術館） Yves Saint Laurent, Across the style (National Art Center, Tokyo)

 

イブ・サンローラン没後、日本では初めてとなる回顧展。

イブ・サンローランと言えば、モンドリアンの絵をあしらったドレスが有名だが、アーティストへのオマージュというコーナーでは、ピカソ、ブラック、ボナールなどを参考にしてモードが展示されていた。

服飾の歴史というコーナーでは、サンローランの作品だけでその歴史をたどっており、サンローランがいかに伝統から学んでいたがわかった。

映画の衣装や、舞台芸術にも多くの業績を残しており、その活躍の場の広さにも驚かされた。

これまで、シャネル、ディオールなどの展覧会を見てきたが、最も構成がしっかりしており、最も楽しめた展覧会だと感じた。

This is the first retrospective exhibition in Japan since Yves Saint Laurent's death.

Speaking of Yves Saint Laurent, he is famous for her dresses decorated with paintings by Mondrian, but in the section called Homage to the Artist, fashions were exhibited with references to Picasso, Braque, Bonnard, and others.

In the section on the history of clothing, the history was traced through Saint Laurent's works alone, and it was clear how much Saint Laurent learned from tradition.

He has made many achievements in the field of movie costumes and performing arts, and I was surprised at the breadth of his field of activity.

I have seen exhibitions by Chanel, Dior, etc., but I felt that this was the most well-structured and most enjoyable exhibition.
