キュビスム展—美の革命（国立西洋美術館） The Cubist Revolution (National Museum of Western Art)

 

フランス、パリのポンピドゥーセンターから、多くの作品が出品された展覧会。

過去にも、ポンピドゥーセンターの展覧会が行われたが。今回はキュビズムをテーマにしたもの。キュビズムというテーマだけで、これほど多くの作品が展示されるのは、さすがポンピドゥーセンター、といったところか。

ピカソの女性の肖像は、アフリカの仮面を参考にしているのがわかる。

ジョルジュ・ブラックがセザンヌの作品を元に描いたという、レスタックの高架橋という作品を見ると、キュビスムがいかにセザンヌに影響を受けたかが一目瞭然だ。

そしてしばらくは、その2人の作品が続く。当時、彼らは”ザイルで結ばれた二人”と呼ばれ、どちらが描いたかわからないと言われるくらい、似たような作品を描いていた。

ファン・グリスのヴァイオリンとグラスには、鮮やかなピンク、ブルー、グリーンが印象的だった。これまで印象の薄い画家だったが、この展覧会ではとても目を奪われる作品が多かった。

そして、一番楽しみにしていた、ロベール・ドローネーとソニア・ドローネー。

特に、ロベール・ドローネーの巨大なパリ市という作品は、この展覧会を象徴する作品としてポスターやパンフレットにも使われていた。

普段はあまり目にする機会のない、ラリオーノフ、ゴンチャローワなどのロシアの立体未来主義の作品も目にすることができた。

他にも、シャガール、モディリアーニ、クプカ、ピカピア、レジェなど、多彩な画家たちの作品が展示されていて楽しめた。

This exhibition featured many works from the Pompidou Center in Paris, France.

In the past, an exhibition was held at the Center Pompidou. This time, the theme is cubism. It's no surprise that Center Pompidou exhibits so many works based on the theme of cubism.

Picasso's portraits of women are clearly inspired by African masks.

Looking at the work ``The Viaduct of L'Estaque,'' which Georges Braque painted based on Cézanne's work, it is obvious how much Cubism was influenced by Cézanne.

And for a while, the works of these two people will continue. At that time, they were known as ``The Two People Connected by Zail,'' and their works were so similar that it was difficult to tell which one had painted them.

Van Gris's violin and glasses were impressive in bright pinks, blues, and greens. Up until now, he has been an unimpressive painter, but in this exhibition there were many works that were very eye-catching.

And the ones I was looking forward to the most were Robert Delaunay and Sonia Delaunay.

In particular, Robert Delaunay's work The Giant City of Paris was used in posters and pamphlets as a symbol of this exhibition.

I was also able to see works by Russian 3D futurists such as Larionov and Goncharova, which I don't usually get a chance to see.

There were also works by a variety of other painters on display, including Chagall, Modigliani, Kupka, Picapia, and Léger, which I enjoyed.
