ガウディとサグラダ・ファミリア（東京国立近代美術館） Gaudí and the Sagrada Família (National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo)

ガウディ展には、これまで何度か足を運んだことがあった。

今回の展覧会は、サグラダ・ファミリアに焦点を当てた内容だった。

これまでに見た展覧会の内容や、テレビなどで何度も紹介されてきたこともあり。正直に言ってあまり目新しい部分はあまりなかったかもしれない。

印象に残ったのは、ガウディが影響を受けたという、バルセロナ周辺の自然環境、スペイン各地に残っているイスラム建築、ガウディの時代に流行していたというネオ・ゴシック建築などの資料だったろうか。

しかし、何度も見ても、ガウディが作り出したその唯一無二の建築作品には、驚きと感動が薄まるということは決してない。

今後も、ガウディについての展覧会などがあれば、またか、と言いつつ足を運んでしまうことだろう。

I have been to the Gaudi exhibition several times.

This exhibition focused on the Sagrada Familia.

The contents of the exhibition I've seen so far, and it's been introduced many times on TV and so on. To be honest, it may not have been very new.

What left an impression on me were materials such as the natural environment around Barcelona, the Islamic architecture that remains in various parts of Spain, and the Neo-Gothic architecture that was popular during Gaudi's era, which Gaudi was said to have been influenced by.

However, no matter how many times I look at it, I never cease to be amazed and impressed by the one-of-a-kind architectural work that Gaudi created.

In the future, if there is an exhibition about Gaudi, I will probably go there again.
