江戸絵画 お絵かき教室（府中市美術館） Edo painting Drawing class (Fuchu Art Museum)

毎年、この時期恒例の府中市立美術館での江戸絵画の展覧会。

今回は、絵を描くという視点で、江戸絵画を見てみようというユニークな企画。

伊藤若冲の動植綵絵を見せられたら、誰もそれを真似て絵を描こうなどとは考えないだろう。

しかし、円山応挙のかわいらしい仔犬の絵を見たら、自分も真似して描いてみようと思う人も多いかもしれない。

まず初めに長澤蘆雪の唐子遊図屏風が来場者を出迎える。屏風のなかでは、小さな子供たちが、見よう見まねで絵を描く様子が描かれている。

他にも蘆雪の絵は所々に登場して、この展覧会の全体の基調を表しているようだった。

今回も、有名な絵師だけでなく、あまり知られていない様々だが絵師たちの作品が展示されていて、江戸絵画の多様な世界観を楽しむことができた。

蘆雪以外で印象に残ったのは、全国を放浪して絵を描いていたという、蓑虫山人の個性的なタッチの絵だった。

Every year, an exhibition of Edo paintings at the Fuchu City Museum of Art.

This time, it is a unique project to look at Edo paintings from the perspective of drawing pictures.

If you were shown Ito Jakuchu's animal paintings, no one would think of imitating them.

However, seeing Maruyama Okyo's pictures of adorable puppies, many people may want to imitate them and draw them themselves.

First, Nagasawa Rosetsu's Karako Yuzu folding screen welcomes visitors. On the folding screens, small children are shown drawing pictures by imitating what they see.

Other paintings by Rosetsu appeared here and there, and seemed to represent the overall tone of the exhibition.

This time as well, not only famous painters, but also works by various lesser-known painters were on display, and I was able to enjoy the diverse worldview of Edo paintings.

Other than Rosetsu, what left an impression on me was the unique touch of Minomu Sanjin, who was said to have been wandering around the country drawing pictures.
