救いのみほとけ（根津美術館） Bodhisattva of Salvation (Nezu Museum of Art)

地蔵菩薩をテーマにしたユニークな展覧会。

地蔵菩薩像や地蔵菩薩立像などは勿論のこと、地蔵十輪経などの地蔵信仰を表す経典や、地蔵菩薩霊験記絵巻、往生要集、地蔵十王図など、地蔵信仰の歴史や特徴を知ることができる内容だった。

この美術館の収蔵品を展示した企画展だったので仕方がないが、地蔵信仰をまとまって知ることができる内容だっただけに、ブックレット程度でもいいので、図録を準備して欲しかった。

A unique exhibition with the theme of Jizo Bodhisattva.

Learn about the history and characteristics of Jizo belief, not to mention the statues of Jizo Bodhisattva and standing Jizo statues, as well as scriptures that express Jizo belief such as Jizo Ten Ring Sutra, Jizo Bosatsu Reigenki Emaki, Ojo Essentials, and Jizo Ten Kings. It was something that could be done.

It can't be helped because it was a special exhibition that displayed the collection of this museum, but since the contents were able to learn about Jizo beliefs in a comprehensive manner, I would have liked to have prepared a catalog, even if it was just a booklet.
