廃墟とイメージ(神奈川県立金沢文庫) Image of Ruins in Japanese Literature and Art (Kanazawa Prefectural Kanazawa Bunko Museum)
法華経曼荼羅という、普段はあまり取り上げられることのないテーマの展示が充実していて、とても楽しめた。
河内本系源氏物語の最古の写本。かつては金沢文庫にあったが、それが徳川家にわたり、今では名古屋の徳川美術館にあるという。
源氏物語については主に3つの系統があるが、それらがどのように後世に伝えられてきたのか、その一つの流れを知ることができた。
国宝の六道絵や病草子には、平安末期の不安な時代の雰囲気が濃厚に感じられる。様々な病が描かれている病草子はよく知られているが、もとは、六道絵の一部であったという。
廃墟というテーマとは、結びつかないのではないか、と思えるものあったが、純粋に多彩な展示品を楽しむことができた。
This exhibition consists of images of various ruins depicted in stories such as The Tale of Genji and Buddhist scriptures, as well as related Shomyoji documents.
There was a lot of exhibits on the Lotus Sutra Mandala, a theme that is not often covered, and I really enjoyed it.
The oldest manuscript of the Tale of Genji from the Kawachi series. It used to be in Kanazawa Bunko, but it passed into the hands of the Tokugawa family and is now housed in the Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya.
There are three main lineages regarding The Tale of Genji, and I was able to learn about one of the ways in which they have been passed down to future generations.
The national treasures Rokudou-e and Izōshi give a strong sense of the atmosphere of the uncertain times at the end of the Heian period. The diseased books, which depict various illnesses, are well known, and are said to have originally been part of Rokudou-e.
Although there were some things that I thought might not be connected to the theme of ruins, I was able to genuinely enjoy the variety of exhibits.
